Hear the Space, Not the Box.
Recorded in a coastal studio in San Juan del Sur.
Gibson Les Paul Special → Orange Micro Terror → Rhapsody. Captured with a Neumann U87 through UA analog preamps.
Why Rhapsody
Designed for guitarists who curate their space as carefully as their sound.
Every curve, joint, and detail of Rhapsody is shaped to serve both tone and environment.
It’s a 1x10 cabinet hidden in plain sight. Built to perform like gear and live like furniture.
Belongs in the room. Side-table silhouette, heirloom materials.
Rig, contained. Soft-close drawer hides pedals and power.
Built to order. Each one crafted, tuned, and tested in our workshop.
Featured In
Built because nothing else felt right.
I’ve spent years designing and building furniture — and playing guitar.
Every amp I owned looked out of place in the spaces I cared about.
So I built something that deserved to be seen.
Sonoforma exists to bring design discipline to the sound world — to make pieces that feel as intentional as the music played through them.

Built by Hand on the Pacific Coast
Each Rhapsody is built in small batches by a team of carpenters trained in fine furniture making. Every surface is hand-sanded, every joint cut and fit with care. Our workshop sits near the Pacific coast of Nicaragua, surrounded by the same forests that provide the sustainably sourced teak used in every piece. It’s a slow, deliberate process — one that values craft, material, and the music that inspired it.
Three Finishes in Solid Teak
Each Rhapsody is hand-finished in sustainably sourced teak, offered in three tones to complement your space and your sound.
-
Claro
Natural teak with golden warmth and visible grain. Light, timeless, and organic.
-
Rosado
A hand-rubbed rose tone that deepens the teak’s natural color, balancing richness and subtle warmth.
-
Oscuro
A deep espresso finish, elegant and modern, bringing quiet contrast to lighter interiors.

FAQs
Why does it take 8 - 12 weeks to ship?
The Rhapsody is meticulously handcrafted to order by skilled carpenters. This process involves carefully selecting and grading sustainably sourced teak hardwood, precision crafting every component, and assembling each piece with care and attention to detail. Once assembled, it undergoes hand-sanding, finishing, and quality checks to ensure it meets our high standards.
The 8–12 week timeline reflects our commitment to delivering a product that is not only beautiful but also built to last. We believe that true craftsmanship takes time, and the result is a piece of furniture that you’ll cherish for years to come.
What type of wood is used for the Rhapsody?
The Rhapsody is crafted from sustainably sourced teak hardwood. Known for its durability, beautiful grain patterns, and natural resistance to wear, teak is a premium material that ensures both longevity and elegance. All of our teak is FSC certified, meaning it’s responsibly harvested to support environmental sustainability and ethical forestry practices.
Is it really sustainable?
All of our products are crafted from FSC-certified teak hardwood, ensuring the wood is responsibly harvested from well-managed forests that prioritize environmental conservation and ethical practices.
We also work closely with partners who share our commitment to sustainability, minimizing waste during production and using materials that are both beautiful and durable. By creating high-quality, long-lasting furniture, we aim to reduce the need for frequent replacements, further contributing to a more sustainable future.
What type of speaker does it come with?
The Rhapsody is equipped with a Celestion G10 Greenback speaker, renowned for a weighty low-end balance, a complex mid-range, and a smooth vintage top-end. It is rated for 30W at 8 ohms.
Is the Rhapsody compatible with all guitar amps?
Yes, the Rhapsody's passive guitar cabinet is designed to be compatible with most standard guitar amps. The Celestion G10 Greenback speaker included is rated for 30W at 8 ohms.
How do I care for it?
To maintain the beauty and longevity of your Rhapsody, we recommend the following:
Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to remove dust regularly. For deeper cleaning, lightly dampen the cloth with water and avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Placement: Keep your furniture away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, or moisture to preserve the natural finish and prevent warping.
By following these simple steps, your Rhapsody will continue to look and perform beautifully for years to come.
